2025 Korean National Basketball Tournament

The Korean Basketball Association of Americas (KBAA) has been hosting the largest Korean-American basketball tournament in North America with the most elite players for over 20 years through our "Invitational" tournament, in association with the Korean Sports Association of USA (KSA-USA). For the first time, we are excited to expand our tournament format to include "Friendship" and "18U" Divisions in addition to our Invitational Teams that represent KSA-USA cities.

We hope that this tournament will an opportunity for Korean-American ballers of all areas to connect and see the pinnacle of Korean-American basketball, sharing the court and event with former KBL and professional players, as well as Korean-American hoopers who have played college basketball, to share their skills, passion and experience with others in our community.

Tournament Info

Invitational Division
Invitation Division, as the name suggests, is an invite only division, in association with KSA-USA affiliated teams. These are teams representing various communities in cities in North America, including LA, Dallas, New York, Toronto, Chicago and Washington DC to name a few. These teams represent the best the cities has to offer, which include former professional and collegiate players.

Friendship Division:  Tournament Fee $500 USD
Friendship Division is our tournament for those that would like to compete with other Korean-American teams. These teams will represent a range of ages and skills, be it college Korean Student Associate (KSA) teams representing in colleges, or church teams that are made of young adults. It might be also teams that are competitive but do not have an Invitation Teams to play with. While there are no restrictions on where players are coming from or level of experience, teams should be made of Korea-heritage players.

18U Division:  Tournament Fee: Free Entry fee this year for first 8 teams.
18U Division is our division for high and middle school players that are looking to meet and compete with other Korean heritage players from around North America.  Typically these will be regional teams affiliated with a youth organization or a church group. While there is no restriction on the make-up of the team from across geographical area, players will need to be 18 years of age or under at the date of the tournament and be of Korean heritage.
